The days I miss...

I've been working on scanning in all my old negatives (pre-digital camera era) for awhile now. I finally got them all done and edited this morning. Looking back at when Brody and Holly were just little tykes really kind of made me sad. I can't believe that they have grown up this fast. It almost makes me want another one...lol. I thought it might be fun to show you some of the old pics. Here you go:

Our first Father-Daughter Dance

I had to share this because it was so cute. Holly came home today with a sign-up sheet for her first father-daughter dance at school. She's so excited. Tony actually agreed to go with her (I know, shocked me too!). We are definitely going to have to shop for a new dress for this very special occassion. The dance is Mid-February and I can't wait to post some pictures of them. I'm so exicted for her. HER FIRST DANCE!!

Hibernation Celebration

Saturday night was my division Holiday party for JE Dunn at my bosses house. Tony and I went for a little while. It was pretty fun. One of the guys that I work with asked me to make a cake for his wife who turned 40. Now, I'm not a cake decorator, but I gave it my best shot...lol. I made a casket and covered it with green icing (for the grass) and made some flowers to stick up out of her grave (I had to incorporate scrapbooking somehow people...lol!). I think she got a pretty good laugh out of it. Not bad for a first attempt I guess. :)

Hello 2009!

Happy New Year everyone! Tony and I rang in the new year with style. After a lovely dinner at Kyoto's we went back to Brian & Chris's house to play games. We took lots of pics of the evening's fun, but I will not be posting any of them...lol. Let's just say that Thursday, was an awfully long day...lol!

Other than that, I've been a busy little beaver for the past couple of days as my vacation nears an end. I've spent most of my time working on our photo/scrapbook albums. I've finally got them all in chronological order (believe it or not). That was no easy task (considering I had over 1500 photos just shoved in a shoebox...lol). I also scanned in a bunch of old family photos. I had an absolute blast looking at them. I must have spent 2 hours on the phone with my Mom trying to get the dates right...lol. I thought everyone might get a kick out of looking at a couple of them. It's pretty easy to tell who Holly looks like...lol. Here you go!
